About Us
Montano Structural Engineering is led by myself, Matt Montano. I am a licensed Professional Engineer (CT, NY) with a strong background in both civil and structural engineering. I hold an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University, and I’ve spent over seven years practicing as a professional structural bridge engineer in New York City.
Over the years, I’ve developed a particular interest in residential work, especially after becoming a homeowner and taking on renovation projects myself. I understand how important it is to keep your home safe while still achieving the layout and feel you want. I approach every project with a detail‑oriented and thorough mindset, while also prioritizing fast turnaround times so you can move your project forward with confidence.
